Certified and Registered Sabin Spring Wheat
Sabin is a new medium maturity hard red spring wheat with good scab tolerance. In testing, Sabin has consistently been above average in yield with excellent performance in southern locations. It has good test weight and protein. It is average in height with medium straw strength. Sabin has the Sumai 3 source for scab resistance. It is resistant to stem rust, with moderate resistance to leaf rust and moderate resistance to other leaf diseases.
