The Processor Preferred logo was
developed to indicate hybrids that
yield more of the valuable traits
processors want or can process
more economically. These hybrids
meet specific needs such as high
fermentability or extractable starch
and are pre-approved by processors,
many of whom are willing to pay a
premium for the added value of
enhanced traits.

Poncho™ 250 – The insect protection you need on every corn acre you plant.

  • Seed protected with Poncho™ 250 produced an average 8.4 bushels/acre more yield than untreated seed in 471 head-to-head comparisons during the past three years.
  • Delivers the early-season control of cutworms, wireworms, white grubs, seedcorn maggots, grape colaspis, flea beetles, chinch bugs and other early season pests your crop needs.
  • Precise amount of Poncho™ 250 insecticide is applied to every
seed, then it’s delivered to your farm, on the seed, in the bag.
  • Team Poncho™ 250 with a new biotech rootworm-resistant hybrid for highly effective, broadspectrum insect control.
  • Water solubility and attraction to plant lipids (oils) nearly ideal for maximum plant absorption; better than any other seed-applied insecticide.
  • More effective control due to both contact and systemic activity.
  • No liquid insecticide systems to mix and load. No insecticide hoppers to fill. Plant more acres per day.
  • No chemical container disposal or special planter equipment required.
  • Can be combined with fungicides on the seed; no known interactions with herbicides.
  • A non-restricted-use insecticide; excellent worker and environmental safety profile.

Poncho™ 1250 – The New Standard for Broad Spectrum Corn Insect Control

  • Corn rootworm control comparable to traditional soil-applied insecticides.
  • Matches or exceeds best competitors in control of cutworm, wireworm, white grub, seedcorn maggot, grape colaspis, flea beetle, chinch bug, billbug and other insect pests.
  • Seed protected with Poncho™ 1250 produced an average 12.6 bushels/acre more yield than untreated seed in 471 head-to-head comparisons over the past three years.
  • Also recommended for refuge acres in conjunction with use of rootworm-resistant corn hybrids.
  • Precise amount of Poncho 1250 insecticide is applied to every seed, then it’s delivered to your farm, on the seed, in the bag.
  • Excellent cost-to-benefit ration relative to soil-applied products.
  • No liquid insecticide systems to mix and load. No insecticide hoppers to fill. Plant more acres per day.
  • Water solubility and attraction to plant lipids (oils) nearly ideal for maximum plant absorption; better than any other seed-applied insecticide.
  • Excellent worker and environmental safety profile.
  • Can be combined with fungicides on the seed, and no known interactions with herbicides.
  • A non-restricted-use insecticide; excellent worker and environmental safety profile.
